I am not sure why you think my review and edit of your potential growth study would be biased. I have a pretty long list of scientific publications with my name on them as author or coauthor. In fact, a coauthor and I currently have a paper submitted to Diatom Research for publication. I have another paper that I coauthored early this year in the same journal. Bias is something I try very hard to avoid. Once you get to graduate school you will quickly discover that scientific writing is quite different than those works created in english class. If you think I'm a tough reviewer wait till you submit a paper to a refereed journal and get your paper chopped by anonymous, professional / academic, fisheries reviewers such as Hayward and Wang cited above.
