Just curious what types of weedkillers you guys recommend spraying , in my case, around the part of the dock that is above the water line but still on the slope into the pond?

Can I use Roundup sparingly/direct saturation? or is there somethig better for broadleaf control ( Permanant is preferred)

Glyphosate is supposed to be pretty safe as long as it doesn't have a heavy dose of surfactant.

I attach towels soaked with glyphosate to an 8' pole, clamp the pole to my tractor's loader bucket, and drag it along the shoreline. That way, almost none gets in the pond. It's far more economical than spraying, too... about 1/4 as much.

Navigate is a aquatic weed killer that I have used on water primrose and parrots feather and it does an excellent job. I have always heard not to use round-up around ponds so I use Navigate and Reward alot.
