Perhaps it is me, or my antique computer but when I do a search for PVC fish cage I get a list of posts all with todays date, Now I know how popular PVC fish cages are, but I don't think they were all posted today and none of hte listed posts I checked mention fish cages at all. I think the search engine is fubar, am I wrong?
I am seeking some pictures of how folks build their own quick and dirty floating PVC fish cages. I want to start working on feed training a few perch to sort of get my feet wet, or keep them dry, depending on how you look at it. Interested in a couple pictures and advice on floating cages. Thanks.

Joe try using " " around the exact phrase. When I do that I get 1 hit - this thread. Without the " " I get pages (it searches for each word) with different dates.
Easy cage. Rigid plastic netting - 4 sides - top and bottom. Trim to fit - epoxy the corners then cable ties around edges and corners to be sure no gaps. Then cut hole in the top and cable tie one side of the top for the opening cover. Attach big pool noodles around top or you can use closed pvc instead.

Also Joe, when you do the search try searching on just the word cage. In addition make sure that your date range is set correctly. When I search I like to clear out the "newer than" portion of the date range put in "older than 1 day" in the older than portion. When I did this using the word "cage" I came up with 8 pages of info going back to August, 2007. I would have expected eariler info but still 8 pages is a lot to read. Here's one to get you started: Cecil discusses fish cages Oh and read any and all of Cecil's post's regarding fish cages.

Other good reading material is the three back issues of Pond Boss Mag: Caged Fish on a Small Scale – Part I. Pond Boss 15(5): 40-42. 2007 (Mar-Apr). Caged Fish on a Small Scale – Part Deux. Pond Boss 15(6): 40-42. 2007 (May-Jun). Caged Fish on a Small Scale – Part III. Pond Boss 16(1): 38-40 (Jul-Aug). Very good informative reading for $28.00; plus it supports Pond Boss magazine and the Forum where one can get all this very good free info.

Hey Bill what about my article on cages!
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Cecil, I missed mentioning (oops) your good article about growing LM bass. I'm still working on indexing the 2008 issues. For info about bass in cages see: Largemouth Bass in Cages. Pond Boss 16(4): 24-25. 2008 (Jan-Feb)
CB1 - we should write an article about growing BG in cages.
