Hmmmmmmmm, I would like to see an independent group of scientists examine this creature complete with independent DNA testing. Until then I will withhold judgement. So they found this critter in Georgia and yet they are going to hold the press conference in Palo Alto California? Something smells (besides the dead furry thing in the freezer).

I am not completely unbiased however.

Bigfoot (Sasquatch) was supposed to take me to the prom.... and he stood me up.

The only logical explanation for him not showing up is that he doesn't actually exist.

Why us, why Georgia?? When this turns out to be a hoax, once again we'll be looked upon as a bunch of goobers.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I was surprised when it was a couple of cops and not the usual suspect.

What would constitute DNA proof for Bigfoot? What are they going to compare it to?

Perhaps DNA evidence could determine if Bigfoot is related to Bigbluefoot.

The can only use the DNA to elimate other possible animals including: bears, apes, monkeys, JHAP in a Ghillie suite, etc, etc.

I've been to Georgia once (managed to drive through the state before they realized I was there and kick me out), the part of Georgia that I saw was beautiful.

Yes. Georgia is known for their state institutional facilities.

I have lived in GA and PA both and I can assure you both residents of these states think the one they were born in is better. I have cousins who lives around Macon, and I spent military time at HAAF in Savannah. Savannah I enjoyed thoroughly, Macon is only so-so in my book. The state is pretty but way too hot to suit me, I like to ice fish too much to live there.

For the record, just as many goobers in the rest of the country as there are in Ga, just more seem to get noticed in Ga near as I can tell.

These guys would have at least sounded more credible if they had allegedly found this in a wilderness area of say Alaska or the Himalayas. I can't believe the media is even taking these yahoos seriously.
