Here we go, spring is just around the corner and I'm comtemplating some pond plants. I still need to establish some plants in my new forage pond dug the fall before last. I had hoped to plant something that encourages forage growth (scuds) plus attract waterfowl. So last year I planted sago in the new poind but the drought seems to have killed it all. So I may plant more sago this year and I also just recieved a pound of giant burr reed seed. Someone offered to send me some last year, maybe it was GW? I ended up ordering some seeds, just got them. Now I guess I have to soak them in the refrigerator for a couple of months and then plant in spring. Anyone ever do this? I gotta get some plants going so I can stock scuds.
Gotta get back to fishin!
