Should I be concerned that there is this much growth this time of the year and with the water temp being 54? I would suspect that as the water gets warmer the FA will spread and be more prevelant. Shoulds I try and treat it now, or is there an optimum time? Not necessarily. When the water gets warmer other competing plants and phytoplanton may use the nurtients that are dormant now.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
