One advantage to Rusty Crayfish being abundant in a lake is lots of big fat Small Mouth. 18-20" bass are pretty common and really fat. Our lake was once over run with the rusties but now the smallies really target them and keep them in check. They even have learned to follow you areound while snorkeling looking for crayfish. I find crayfish under stuff and have them take the crayfish right from my hand, Kinda like feeding the sharks,,.....its pretty cool

That's awesome Bobby. To have smallies eat out of your hand would be an incredible experience.

That is .......AWESOME!!!!

So, your pond is in FL? You're growing smallies like that in FLA?

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Those smallies look great, especially if you could transfer some back to your pond.
