Sorry, i am italian and dont speack english currectly; You have some beautiful ponds, but for what, you use them? (fish farming for food, for sport fishing, etc)

No problem Leo! I get the jist of what you are saying....and your English is far better than my Italian will ever be! LOL

I think we keep these ponds for the sheer enjoyment of being close to water, watching nature up close, cooling off on a hot summers day with a cool dip, watching the fish and learning about them, skating in the winter (for some of us!), and just otherwise enjoyment.

I use mine to help attract wildlife, sportfishing, and water retrieving for hunting dog training. I can exercise the dog when it's hot out and not worry about overheating the dog. It's also peaceful to just sit by the pond and watch.

Your English is better than my Italian will ever be also!

I agree with the choices of those who use the pond for:
- Private Fishery
- Ornamental Landscapin
- To Attract Wildlife
If I had a pond like yours, would be used for exactly these purposes, but my pond is not suitable for fishing ... grin
