Here is a link to a very good 213 page handbook (pdf) of Biology and Control of Aquatic Plants written by 23 plant experts throughout the USA (mostly University professors). The handbook has 13 chapters, 6 Appendices and a glossary. Chapter 13 is a monograph and discusses in detail 10 common invasive noxious aquatic weeds.
