These are photos taken looking down into the water under and around the Barge.

This single LMB (18 inches) seems to have laid claim to the area under the Barge. There are thousands of tiny Bass around and between the Barge floats.

I have no clue if this activity is occurring because of or in spite of the underwater light!

The light will attract plankton which the LMB fry feed on. Every year we always have a few LMB that spawn right around/next to/under the pier.

Dwight that pic is about 2 mths old. Those LMB fry , at least those surviving, are about 3 in now.

ewest, I forget that your fish are spawning in the middle of the winter up here.
