Fish, You need to start removing some of your bass. As a rule you should remove 1lb of bass for every 5 lbs of bluegill. Start checking the relative weights of your bass and this will help determine if you are bass heavy. If you have never removed any bass I would bet that you are catching many bass in the 12 inch range. If this is the case your pretator to pray ratio is out of balance. There is much info on this site about this subject. I would think that you might need to remove 20lbs of bass per acre to start if you are catching numerouse small bass. There are alot of knowledgable on this site that can give you specifics.

At a seminar last year, the pro's agreed that after the 3rd year you should take out every LMB 12" and under. They said, "Don't worry. There is no way you can get too many."
